Exclusive Dune Shoot for Capelli La Vita
South African born couture designer, Jacques LaGrange, studied fashion at The Academy of Clothing Technology, followed by working as a personal assistant to renowned couturier Errol Arendz, for six and a half years.
Jacques became a finalist in the Young Designer of the Year awards in 1999 and went on to win the Most Elegant Couple competition at The J&B Met of that year, as well as winning the same award once again two years later in 2001.
Jacques moved to Paris (France) to settle, but shortly thereafter returned to Cape Town when asked to help launch French design house, Lancel, in South Africa. He then decided to launch his own couture label locally and never looked back.
